What a lovely day.

Today, I drove myself over to an English tutorial center near my house to apply for a part-time job as a tutor. I was referred by a friend in choir because she knew I needed the money. Life isn’t as easy as it used to be anymore.

So I proceeded to spend 30 minutes filling out an application form, only to be told that they don’t hire working students. I tell her I’m not in school yet and that I’m still deciding. They reply with a solid, “We’ll text you.”

Great, thanks.

I get home to check my mail, see if any other jobs I applied for responded. I see an email from a company I applied for long ago. This one has a long application process; they’re new but they show promise. They send me the results of my evaluation. Apparently they’re asking me to retake the evaluation. Apparently it’s because I’m not nice or cheerful.

Great, thanks.

I try, really, really hard. Still, I don’t get good results. Talk about kicking you when you’re down. In any case, there’s no point in giving up when much has been invested into this. I have to try harder.

FML.

I felt the need to rant. About Facebook. On tumblr.

Haters gonna hate.

Seriously, though, I’m just annoyed that they keep having to update it without giving us prior notice about it. I don’t wanna open up my Facebook after weeks of not going online and see the layout I’m used to change. I barely got a hold of the last one, for bejeezus’ sake. For someone who doesn’t use FB a whole lot, it gets really irritating. (-_-) 

That moment when you realize the person who you thought was your best friend isn’t your best friend anymore.

I realized it long before, but I never really came to terms with it.

It’s hard to see someone you used to be close to drifting away. It’s not like you didn’t try to fight it, that’s just really how life works. Don’t think that it’s your fault, or their fault; it’s no one’s fault. That’s just life’s way of telling you that you’re not meant to be in each other’s lives. Maybe when the time comes and the ‘winds of fate’ change, so will your relationship. Until then, it’s not worth the agony of crying over it.

I wish there was a way to have multiple blogs on one tumblr and have separate dashboards for each blog; so that I don’t have to log out if I want to reblog random fandom muck or post about life… But, you know, I’m just throwing it out there, tumblr.

Regardless, I haven’t been writing, and I haven’t been updating this poor old sack of potatoes you call a blog. Not to say my life hasn’t been interesting; because, BOY, I’ve had enough drama in the last 6 months to last me a lifetime. Speaking of which, the last time I updated was 6 months ago, go figure.

Anywhoo, to keep things short, this isn’t exactly goodbye. I’m probably going to move things around, or get myself to move, or just move everything; and I promise that this will be the last time.

I’ll keep you updated.

Wow, hello again, priority tumblr.

It seems as though I’ve been having too much fun on my other tumblr. Although, it feels good though to come back and see everyone’s posts, and to talk about other things, and reblog things I usually don’t allow myself to reblog on my other tumblr.

So, I guess it’s only proper to get up to speed on things…

I just finished my two-month course in MDA. I have two more courses to go and one final to go, but I can actually work now. I’m actually already working on a few projects already and I’m really excited for that…

I’m still an OOSY (out of school youth) at the moment and I probably will be until next year. I’m at a point in my life where I think right now I’d like to work and I enjoy working, and for me, working is probably the best option. It’s easier to decide I suppose when you know what you want to do in life and you’re already doing it.

I’m still going to go to college, of course, but I don’t think it’s something I need right now.

I’ve gotten some long-awaited closure from a lot of issues I’ve been dealing with for the past few years. I’m happy about it, and i’m moving forward.

So yeah, that’s about it, the rest of the time I’m just here being alive and stuff…
